How much traffic do I need to A/B test?
For statistically significant tests you need at least ~1,000 unique visitors per variant per month at β‰₯2% baseline conversion. That's roughly 5,000-10,000 sessions/month total for a brand. Below that scale A/B testing doesn't work β€” then we focus on CRO Audit + Funnel Rebuild instead of tests.
Does CRO work for B2B sites with low traffic?
Yes, but differently. With B2B "conversion" is often a form submit for demo or contact, not a checkout. There we work less with A/B testing and more with UX research (5-second tests, user interviews, heatmaps), copy rewrites and funnel rebuilds. Which testing tool do you need? Do I have to buy VWO/Optimizely?
No. We work with what you have. For brands without budget: Google Optimize alternative (GrowthBook, PostHog Experiments) or Microsoft Clarity + native A/B-test features in Shopify/WooCommerce. For budgets: VWO (~€200/m) or Optimizely (~€600/m). Tooling choice we make during the Audit based on your stack and budget.
What if a test doesn't win β€” money wasted?
Non-winning tests are valuable too β€” you now know a hypothesis doesn't work and can adjust direction. A typical CRO sprint has ~30% winners, ~30% losers, ~40% inconclusive. Goal: portfolio of winners overall > +20% conversion. Hence the portfolio guarantee: not one test, but the aggregate lift counts.
How long until I see results?
First test live week 2. First statistically significant result between weeks 4-6 (depending on traffic volume). Aggregate sprint lift measured at week 12.
